Your Brain on Books |
Despite the forced pause that I suffered through during parts of 2013 and 2014, Book Chase officially turns eight years old today. (Believe me...it was touch and go there for a while last year.) I'm happy to report that most of my "regulars" have found their way back to Book Chase and that my total readership, encouragingly, is on the rise. I thank all of you for the great welcome back to the world of book blogging I received when I was finally able to return. You guys (and, of course, your blogs) are amazing.
Eight, slightly interrupted, years of Book Chase means:
923 Book and Short Story Reviews
155 Posts on Bookstores
236 Posts on specific Authors
477 Posts of Book News
219 Links to book-related YouTube videos
39 Links to Book Trailer videos
112 Posts about E-book issues
58 Posts about avid Readers
In total, there have been almost 2,350 separate posts generating just under 11,000 comments, so thanks for the wonderful feedback. That number does not include the spam comments that I continue to deal with here. That's a whole other story.

So now with eight years on the books, I'm looking forward to an uninterrupted ninth year. My goals for 2015 are simple ones: something close to averaging at least one post a day, more features on avid readers, at least two book reviews per week, regular Short Story Saturdays, and becoming part of the conversation on other book blogs as often as I can.
Thanks again to all of you who make this so much fun.
Happy belated anniversary! Love the little cartoon clip!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Stefanie. I didn't realize just how much I missed talking books until I finally was able to start blogging again.
