My sincere thanks go to all my fellow book bloggers who keep me so inspired by their great work, and to all the readers, authors, publishers, libraries, and bookstores that have been such an integral part of my life.  Year Seven starts today...

  1. Congratulations!!! I'm not sure if I've ever commented but I've been reading for a couple of years now and enjoy all the tangents your blog takes. I hope you continue to find the fun!

  2. Happy birthday to your blog! I hope blogging never stops being fun for you.

  3. Wow - that's an amazing record for six years!

Happy anniversary - I wish you many more years of great blogging.

  4. Happy blogiversary, Sam! you and Bride of the Book God started on the same day, same age.....I'm younger than you two, I started in Oct, so will be 6 later this year!

It's been so much fun meeting so many people who read, all over the world, hasn't it? And all the discussions involving books and ideas, rants about favourites and the rise of the e-reader...may you have as many more years ahead of you blogging and talking about books, Sam :-)

  5. Congratulations, Sam. This is a real milestone and I am impressed with the stats collated here.
Your site is always so good -- definitely one of my very favorite places to visit and to stay in tune with the best in writing about books.
I wish you many more years of blogging and perhaps you will have even more time to do it now that you have retired from the severe workaday world.
[I can't wait until I can say the same for myself..... I want to write, write, write, and never have enough time].

  6. Thanks for the comment, Elizabeth. I appreciate the kind words and hope to hear from you again.

  7. Thanks, Library Girl. I always enjoy your input to the conversation...appreciate you very much.

  8. Thanks so much, Debbie. The numbers do add up after a while, but the number of book reviews, I have to admit, does surprise me a bit.

  9. That's it exactly, Susan. It's all about the conversation and meeting so many likeminded people that we would otherwise never have known. Best part of the Internet experience is making so many great "virtual friends."

  10. Thanks, Cip...great to hear from you, as always. Retirement is still slowly sinking in...can't figure out yet why the days are still flashing by. Everyone said I would probably get bored and that time would drag. Let me tell you just how wrong they are. I've re-prioritized my world, for the most parts, and the clock seems to be ticking faster than ever. And it's fine with me because I can finally focus on what I like to do rather than what I have to do.

  11. Congrats Sam! When you look at your stats, its amazing. Thats exactly why I read your blog! Thanks for your hard work.

  12. Thanks for being such a regular visitor to Book Chase, Kayo. I sincerely appreciate your input.
