Les Misèrables Parody by Sesame Street
This is an amazingly well done parody version of Les Misèrables. When did Sesame Street start doing things like this? This one was apparently produced by PBS some time in 2013...but surely it's not part of the regular Sesame Street show for toddlers, is it? Post #2,551
:) I wonder how many kids watch Sesame Street anymore with ipads and video games in competition.... I watched with my kids from toddlers thru at least first grade not only because of the educational value, but also because of celebs like Buffy St. Marie making regular appearances.
That's a good question. I'm not around many kids that age these days, so I don't have a clue. I find it amazing that the show has lasted for so many decades as it is, but sometimes quality is actually rewarded, and this seems to be one of those times.

DeleteI'm pretty sure they watch it ON their iPads.
ReplyDeleteLoved this, Sam.
Nik, I would imagine that you are right about that. Heck, I hardly ever watch an actual television set myself these days.
