I'm not a particularly fast reader, so I don't usually have more than three or four review books around at any one time. I think I would be in a constant state of panic if I had to look at more than a handful of them at a time. Way too much pressure. :-)Sam https://www.blogger.com/profile/17448913705757509608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38656633.post-2415142680046249962020-04-15T18:37:28.180-05:002020-04-15T18:37:28.180-05:00Agreed - it's always fun to look at people'...Agreed - it's always fun to look at people's bookshelves. My main bookshelf would be confusing to people, though - it's stuffed full of review books I haven't read yet :) I always explain that to people who look at it because their confusion is evident!

Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05344704891037668456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38656633.post-86063966999880089382020-04-15T18:24:11.269-05:002020-04-15T18:24:11.269-05:00It sounds bad, I suppose, but I always think less ...It sounds bad, I suppose, but I always think less of a person if I visit them in their home and find that they don't have any books in the house. Just can't help myself.

Louise Penny is definitely one of my favorites, Cath. I keep planning to do an internet search to see if I can find good first editions of her early Gamache novels, but I never seem to get around to it. Jokey comments such as, 'You can't believe anything he says, he has no BOOKS'. Hilarious.
