In retrospect, it all seems a bit contrived, but then so do most thrillers, I think.Sam https://www.blogger.com/profile/17448913705757509608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38656633.post-89841400723688705602020-08-06T08:53:13.296-05:002020-08-06T08:53:13.296-05:00Not quite sure what else Clara could have done to ...Not quite sure what else Clara could have done to help others - given her own life situation during and after the war. The number of cliffhangers that she escapes becomes kind of unbelievable after a while. But, all in all, not a bad book, especially if you enjoy the occasional thriller like I do.Sam https://www.blogger.com/profile/17448913705757509608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38656633.post-63253129166632569582020-02-06T05:20:31.332-06:002020-02-06T05:20:31.332-06:00It sounds good enough for me to keep an eye out fo...It sounds good enough for me to keep an eye out for it as I haven't read anything with this precise kind of point of view. I'll see if the library has your book at some stage.
